When you sign in using Google or Apple, we may receive information such as:

The exact information we receive depends on the provider and your settings with that provider.

D. Information About Other People

If you upload contacts, invite other users, create social connections, or submit content that identifies another person, we may process that information to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share such information.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

- create and maintain accounts;

- operate profiles, wishlists, tags, connections, retailer pages, and reminder features;

- personalize content, discovery, and recommendation surfaces;

- send transactional, support, and service communications;

- send push notifications and in-app notifications;

- support gift-list reminders, connection requests, and wish-related activity notifications;

4. Public and Social Features

Wishfinity is a social platform, and some information is public by design.

Publicly visible information may include:

- public wishlist or tag/list content;

Because the Service includes public-facing pages, some content may also be indexed, cached, copied, or republished by search engines, third parties, or other users.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

A. Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that support our operations, including hosting, analytics, communications, infrastructure, authentication, storage, security, and customer-support providers.

B. Third-Party Retailers and Destinations

When you click links to third-party retailers or other external destinations, those parties may receive information such as referral data, URL parameters, or affiliate-related parameters.

C. Public Sharing Through the Service

Information you choose to make public or that is public by design may be visible to other users and the public.

D. Legal and Safety Reasons

We may share information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

- comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process;

- protect the rights, property, or safety of Wishfinity, users, or others;

- investigate fraud, stalking, harassment, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues; or

- enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements.

E. Business Transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

F. Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to:

- keep users signed in;

- remember settings and preferences;

- operate authentication and routing flows;

- measure performance and usage;

- diagnose issues; and

- improve the Service.

We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand product usage, stability, and trends.

7. Notifications and Communications

We may send:

- sign-in and authentication messages;

- security and technical notices;

- support communications;

- feature and service messages;

- connection requests and social activity alerts;

- wish-related activity notifications; and

- gift-list reminder notifications.

You may be able to control some push-notification or email preferences through the Service, your device settings, or unsubscribe tools where applicable. Some communications are operational or transactional and cannot be fully opted out of while you maintain an account.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- provide and maintain the Service;

- preserve user settings and operational continuity;

- support security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection;

- comply with legal obligations;

- resolve disputes and enforce agreements; and

- maintain backups, logs, and legitimate internal business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.

9. Account Deletion and De-Identification

You may delete your account through the self-service deletion flow in the app settings.

When an account is deleted, Wishfinity may:

- invalidate sessions and access tokens;

- remove or de-identify certain personal account information;

- preserve some data, logs, and records for security, fraud-prevention, legal, compliance, backup, operational, and dispute-resolution purposes; and

- make the deleted username available for reuse.

Because of the social, technical, and distributed nature of the Service, some content or references may persist if they were:

- shared or reposted by others;

- cached by third parties or search engines;

- retained in logs or backups; or

- preserved for legal, security, or operational reasons.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information under our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Processing

Wishfinity is based in the United States. Information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with data-protection rules that differ from those of your country.

12. Children’s Privacy

Wishfinity is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Your Choices

You may be able to:

- update certain account and profile information;

- choose what content to post or make public;

- manage some notification preferences;

- delete your account through the in-app deletion flow; and

- contact us with privacy-related questions or requests.

Please note that changing or deleting information may not remove copies retained in backups, logs, legal records, anti-abuse systems, or content already shared by others.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
